All Saints Church, Southampton, Hampshire, England

Notes: All Saints was destroyed by German bombing during the war. It stood where the Bargate centre is now, at the junction of East Street with the High Street, within sight of Bar gate. [source: http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=638609.msg4856445#msg4856445 ]

Situated on Back of the Walls south of East Street, the graveyard was some way from the church and actually outside All Saints' parish. It was established soon after the church was built and was full by 1843. It was closed c1885. In 1914 it was deconsecrated and the headstones removed. In the 1930s a children's playground was built on the site. The land is now occupied by a multi storey car park. [source: http://www.plimsoll.org/resources/SCCLibraries/905.asp ]
