- I Ezra Crispe senior of Swefling in ye County of Suffolk Yeoman. Unto Ann my beloved wife my messuages and lands in Swefling now in ye occupation of Samuell Jordan late Everetts for life remainder unto John Crispe my son and ye heirs of his body lawfully begotten remainder unto Hannah Crispe my daughter and to her heirs forever. I will that ye messuage wherein I now dwell will all and singular ye lands thereto belonging and ye messuages and lands now in ye occupation of John Howell in Swefling aforesaid shall be sold, unto Moses Crispe my son £50 when 21 but if he dies under that age the same to be equally divided between Blessett Crispe my son and Sarah Patrick my daughter. Unto John Crispe my son and Hannah Crispe my daughter £50 a piece when 21. Unto Ezra Crispe my son and to his heirs all my messuages lands etc in Halesworth in ye said county unto ye said Ann my wife, £30 and £20 more towards ye maintenance and education of my two youngest children. Unto ye said Moses Crispe my son a silver Tancklar that was his mothers and two silver spons and to Blessett Crispe my sonn 5/- and to Sarah Patrick my daughter two silver spoons and to Hanah my daughter a little trunck that was her mothers one silver spoon etc. Unto Mary Cotten my daughter £5 and a little spoon. Ye said Ezra Moses Blesset and John my sons Mary Sarah an Hannah my daughter equal residuary Legatees. Samuell Crispe my brother and Francis Patrick my son in law executors. Dated 25 Dec 1710.
