- About 3 years after their marriage they rented a second floor of a house at Berwick Street, Oxford Street, St James Westminster for about 3 months at 5 shillings per week, approximately between May 1817 to July 1817. They had their own furniture.
They rented in Hare (or Eyre) Street Hill, Holborn at 4 shillings per week for 3 years altogether, approximately between October 1819 to October 1822. They were in the property 18 months when they were passed from St Andrews Holborn to St Giles in the Fields by a removal order in March 1821. They were in the property for another 18 months after they were passed to St Giles parish. The property was unfurnished. They received 8 shillings from St Giles in the Fields parish and they told her husband they would find him work.
